Cassese Appraisals offers real estate appraisals for both residential and commercial properties throughout the Cape and on Nantucket. Our clients include buyers and sellers of real estate, financing and refinancing institutions, and estate planning, settlement, trust and probate attorneys. We specialize in waterfront residential homes and estates on Cape Cod and Nantucket Island.
Our fees are competitive, our turn-around time is prompt, and we accommodate our off-Cape clients by being available 24-7 for home inspections. Our appraisal reports are prepared competently and objectively, they are carefully researched and detailed and they are thoughtfully explained and easily understood.
Mary Lou Cassese, owner, holds the Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License in Massachusetts and is an SRA (Senior Residential Appraiser) Designated member of the Appraisal Institute, the oldest and most prestigious professional appraisal organization in the US. She serves on the Town of Orleans Board of Assessors and is a member of several other professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Board of Real Esate Appraisers, and Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors.
Mary Lou has been working the real estate appraisal profession for 8 years, since 2002. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA. Mary Lou's prior professional experience includes 25 years with IBM in Endicott, NY, Armonk, NY and Dallas, TX in various financial and pricing management positions, and 5 years as bank Branch Manager for Branch Banking & Trust and First Citizen's Bank, in Raleigh, NC.
